As part of the launch of Active Value Investing published by Wiley Finance and written by Vitaliy N. Katsenelson, I was sent more than one copy of the book to read and review. I’m in the process of going through the book now, but the second book is up for grabs! A $50 value! (though to be honest it’s only $32.97 on Amazon.com)
I haven’t read much of it yet, but the book is basically split in two parts. First, an argument for why markets over over the next dozen years will likely be range bound - that is setting all-time highs and multi-year lows without prolonged trends one way or the other. Second, a value based investing strategy for how to profit during these markets. I’m a bit uncertain how one can implement both an active and value based investing strategy, but that’s what makes the book so special!
So, here’s the game. In an effort to encourage more interaction between readers of this blog and me, I’m going to offer the book to the reader who posts the most comments over the next two weeks! Double points for posting trackbacks from your blog. The tie breaker will be at my discretion and done in a points based manner much like the ESPN show “Around the Horn.”
So, subscribe to the feed, visit every day, do whatever you want, just make sure to post some great comments over the next few weeks. Make sure to leave your name and e-mail on all the comments or trackbacks so I can keep count!
