About
In a simple sense, The Curious Investor is a blog following one enthusiast’s quest to understand the stock market. The idea is to foster an open community within the blogosphere where interested parties can share their knowledge and, hopefully, also learn a thing or two about investing in the stock market.
I hope to post on a very regular basis but will always leave at least one day between posts to allow conversations to take place on each post’s comments. As such, think of each post as a sort of jumping off point for a discussion. Please feel free to leave comments with any questions or further insights that you might have about each post. I will do my best to respond to each inquiry. Enjoy!
Also, as a consequence of starting this blog, I started several investing portfolios to test how I could fair using different strategies. I have an actively traded portfolio (not a day trading portfolio), a GARP actively invested portfolio, and a dividend based buy and hold portfolio. If you’d like to follow these strategies, please visit the My Stock Holdings page. A link is always available in the right sidebar.
Alas, before we begin on our fun filled adventure into the stock market, please take some time to read this site’s Legal Info/Disclaimer by clicking the “Legal Info” link.
